October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. ESCO is proud to support this campaign through raising funds for our Pink Out Game which we will donate to Northwest Community Hospital’s Breast Center Gift-a-Mammogram Program.
The Gift-a-Mammogram Program provides the potentially lifesaving exam to women who could not normally afford one. Last year we raised enough money to provide 25 mammograms to women in need!
Interested in joining our efforts? You can make a donation or sponsor your own mammogram by clicking the button below! Own a local business? Sponsor a mammogram and have your company logo on the official event banner!
Our month-long campaign will culminate with our annual Pink Out Game which will feature Elite S.C. U19 Girls playing a game on Sunday, October 27 at 6:00pm at Rolling Meadows High School. All Elite S.C. teams are encouraged to attend and wear their pink shirts. We’ll again offer space on the track for all teams to have their season-ending celebration. More details on this coming soon. See pictures from last year’s event below.
You can help us in our efforts by purchasing a pink jersey through your Elite S.C. team manager and or outside fundraising. The pink jerseys may be worn in training and games (provided all team members purchase a jersey).
