ESCO’s Youth Leadership Program is available to youth in grades 6-12 and provides opportunities and experiences that foster leadership development, youth empowerment, and self-reflection. Aimed at promoting personal and social development, it is our goal to discover and enhance leadership skills and attitudes. We want youth in our program to realize their potential and build the confidence to be leaders on and off the field. Soccer experience not required.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s program will look and feel a bit different form years past. Meetings will be shorter, less frequent, and remote unless we are able to meet in person. There will be five virtual leadership meetings and three community service projects. Additional projects that fit social distancing guidelines will be considered.
Youth Leadership Meeting Dates:
Sept. 27, Nov. 1, Jan. 10, Feb. 28, Apr. 11
(all from 7:00pm-7:45pm)
ALL Youth Leaders are expected to:
- Attend leadership meetings
- Participate in our service projects
- Volunteer at least 10 hours throughout the year. Either through ESCO’s service projects, outside service, or ESCO’s soccer programs
TENTATIVELY: There will be volunteer coaching opportunities through our free soccer programs for underserved youth with CCSD59 and CCSD21. These sessions are in the fall and spring and are for kids in grades 2-5.
2020-21 Program Fee: $55.00
(this includes a t-shirt)
