2019 Thanksgiving Food Drive

We will be collecting items at Juliette Low Elementary School, 1530 S Highland Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 on Sunday, November 24 from 1:30-3:30PM.

The Thanksgiving Food Drive benefiting the Wheeling Township Food Pantry has been an important part of Elite S.C. and ESCO since ESCO formed back in 2010. Almost every year we have been able to donate over 100 Thanksgiving meals to those in need and we are hoping this year can be even better. 

As with last year, we are asking age groups to focus on collecting specific items which we will then collect and sorted. At the same time Elite teams are collecting items, our Youth Leaders are working hard to collect their own complete baskets. On Sunday, November 24 from 1:30-3:30 the Youth Leaders will gather at Juliette Low Elementary to collect the team items and assemble all the items collected into complete Thanksgiving meals for families in need within our community.

U8 Teams: Canned Fruit & Canned Vegetables & Gravy
U9 Teams: Boxed Corn Bread & Dessert Items (cookies, pudding, jello, boxed cake mix)
U10 Teams: Boxed Corn Bread & Dessert Items (cookies, pudding, jello, boxed cake mix)
U11 Teams: Stuffing & Apple/Cranberry Sauce
U12 Teams: Canned Fruit & Canned Vegetables & Boxed Mashed Potatoes (large box)
U13 Teams: Mushroom Soup & Mac n Cheese & Broth
U14 Teams: Boxed Mashed Potatoes (large box) & Gravy
U15 Teams: Stuffing, Apple/Cranberry Sauce, & Broth
HS Girls Teams: Canned Fruit & Canned Vegetables & Gravy

Additional items needed:

  • Laundry Basket for your items
  • A $25 gift card (not larger please) to a local grocery store so families can purchase a turkey or other meat to go with their meal
