We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates on the progress of ESCO FC, under the dedicated direction of Coach Rob Moore and our fantastic coaching staff, Coaches Luis and Leo. As the fall season comes to a close, it’s clear that our young athletes and coaches have been working incredibly hard, and the results speak for themselves!
Highlights from our November Clinic and ESCO FC Growth:
Last week, we hosted our second annual November Clinic to introduce more players to ESCO FC and expand our community. The clinic was split into two groups, with one group (2014-2016 birth years) focusing on players who can join our existing teams, and the younger group (2017-2019 birth years) exploring opportunities to play in the Elite S.C. Youth Program game days.
Here’s a quick breakdown of our clinic participation:
- 2014-2016 Group: 4 participants attended the clinic and will soon be invited to join our current ESCO FC teams.
- 2017-2019 Group: 10 participants attended, and we are excited to form teams for them to participate in spring game days.
Current Plans for Growth and Development:
- With new members from the clinic, we’re thrilled to see our numbers increase, bringing us to a total of 27 players in ESCO FC!
- Our coaches are actively reaching out to additional young players to join us and further enrich the program.
Fall Season Success:
- We wrapped up our second fall season with 23 players split into two teams (one competing in U10 and the other in U11).
- Coach Luis and Coach Leo have expressed immense pride in the development of our players, noting their growth, skill improvement, and sportsmanship on the field.
- Families have shared heartfelt gratitude for the program, thrilled with the progress they’ve seen in their children and grateful for the support and dedication from our coaches.
Building Opportunities for All Players:
- We’re also proud to support two young girls from ESCO who play on Elite teams throughout the year. Although we don’t yet have an all-girls team, we’re delighted that they have a place to learn, play, and grow with ESCO.
We couldn’t be prouder of all the players, coaches, and families who make ESCO FC so special. Coach Rob and his team have truly created an environment that supports growth, camaraderie, and a love for the game. The future of ESCO FC looks brighter than ever, and we can’t wait to see the incredible strides our players will make in the coming seasons.
Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement for ESCO FC. Together, we’re building something truly remarkable for our community.
With gratitude,
Jay Casaletto
