Congratulations to this year’s ESCO scholarship winners and a big thank you to our scholarship committee that narrowed the pool down to two applicants.
We are pleased to announce our 2020 winners are Emma Hager and Emma Katovich, both will receive $1,000 scholarships.
Upon receipt of an application, all identifying information was removed to make the applications anonymous and applications were then numbered in order of receipt so the committee then referred to the applicants by a number. The committee deliberated and narrowed it down to two numbers, which corresponded to Emma H. and Emma K.
The applications we received were all amazing to review and the applicants should be very proud of their accomplishments and bright futures ahead. Thank you for being an inspiration – you are all great role models!
Read more about both our winners below and check out their acceptance videos on our social media pages (coming soon).

Examples of Citizenship/Leadership: Aside from my involvement in ESCO, last summer I volunteered for a week at the Association of Horizon summer camp. This is an organization that provides a week long overnight summer camp experience for adults with physical disabilities. During that week I was a 1 on 1 attendant with a camper. I would take her around the camp and do whatever summer camp activities she desired. It was a super fun and eye opening experience that taught me to be grateful for what I have.
